At Encounter Local we recognize the value of short term trips and strive to serve the community projects and mission teams in a manner which is beneficial for the visiting team as well as the locals. This is achieved by offering the means for groups to enter remote areas without serious and timely planning.

We aim to lift logistical burden from project partners to help them benefit from the support of short term teams, without the headache and distraction of logistical details. For the teams, we strive to assist them by focusing on their mission and accommodate their needs by taking care of trip logistics.

Encounter Local does not just hope to serve in making short terms mission trips easier for everyone involved but also strives to make these trips possible where they were not possible before. We have facilitated mission trips for groups across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Malawi.
